The Zirmerhof Hotel and Residence is a beautifully-located estate at 500 metres above sea level in the village of Rifiano/Riffian, at the entrance to the Passiria Valley and the Texelgruppe Nature Park. The lifts to the Hirzer, Hochmuth and Merano 2000 hiking areas are all within a few minutes’ car or bus drive.

Our 3-star-superior hotel offers the perfect ambience for an unforgettable holiday in Merano and Environs. As hosts, we strive to offer you the best experience from all points of view. Our guest rooms are equipped with all mod cons to ensure you a regenerating break. Our chefs will be surprising you daily with delectable, healthy menus. Our hotel also features a spa area where you can relax and recharge after a hike or bike tour. Speaking of which, take a look at our weekly programme – it includes guided hikes and bike tours, culinary events like a series of tastings and more.
In the period from early January to late June and from mid-October to early November, we offer our hotel guests a complimentary MeranCard which grants free use of all public transport in South Tyrol and several lift facilities, as well as free or discounted entry to more than 80 museums and a 10% discount on bike rental at Sportservice Erwin Stricker.

The Zirmerhof Residence
The Zirmerhof estate includes a family-owned residence with cosy holiday apartments that offer the perfect alternative for those who like to spend their holidays in complete freedom while still enjoying the hotel’s amenities, including the spa and our complimentary activity programme. As a guest of our residence, you can also book the bed and breakfast option (+ €20.00 per person/day) or the 5-course gourmethalf-board arrangement (+ €35.00 per person/day). Bread delivery service is also available for guests who choose the self-catering option.
In the Residences, catered accommodation options as well as use of the wellness area and pool are only available when Hotel Zirmerhof is open.
All our holiday apartments are modern in style and feature either a furnished balcony or a garden terrace. Bed linen, towels, bathrobes and a spa basket are provided and changed regularly in the case of longer stays.
